Chelsea whisked once Wolves as Graham Potter secured back-to-back triumphs in the Premier League to move the Blues into the top four.
Kai Havertz scored right on half time, also Christian Pulisic made it 2- 0 with his first thing of the season and Armando Borja jumped off the bench to score his first Chelsea thing to seal the palm.
After making seven changes to the lineup, Potter’s side eased to palm and moved on to 16 points for the season. Managerless Wolves have six points and remain in the nethermost three.
What we learned from Chelsea vs Wolves :

The joy has returned to Chelsea’s play It took them a while to break through but it was coming. Chelsea’s players formerly feel to have embraced the redundant creativity and freedom that Graham Potter’s tactics have brought and indeed after leaving Pierre- Emerick Aubameyang and Raheem Sterling on the bench, they looked sharp in attack. There’s a different belief about their play when they’re going forward and they could have scored further than three. each over the pitch, Chelsea’s players look to be enjoying playing football again, and winning three games on the witch( in all competitions) will help confidence situations too.
Wolves in a world of trouble They were okay for part of the corridor half and they missed many chances as crosses into the box caused problems. But that was about it. With Raul Jimenez still out and Diego Costa, 34, looking well off the pace after his appearance, there’s no real thing trouble for the Wolves. They also don’t have a director and the entire team looks devoid of confidence. It has been done for some time and whoever comes in will have a veritably tough task to turn this around. Wolves have zero belief.
Tactical concentrate :
Potter’s cold-blooded sect- reverse places worked well in this game and Azpilicueta and Christian Pulisic had a plenitude of chances to score and help. In possession, Chelsea was playing a 4-2-3-1 conformation with Pulisic pushing on down the left wing. Out of possession, it would come a 3-4-2-1 with Pulisic dropping back as a sect-reverse and Marc Cucurella tucking in as a left-sided center-reverse. It worked well and allowed Chelsea to load the wide areas consummately.
Chelsea vs Wolves injury updates :
Wesley Fofana limped off during the first half of our palm against AC Milan, and Graham Potter had this to say about the protector in his pre-match press conference ahead of facing Wolves.
Wesley’s knee’s not as bad as we allowed :
after the game, so that’s good because it was a cause for concern at the time, but it’ll still be many weeks. It’s vastly better than it could be, but he’ll be missing for many weeks,’ he explained.
‘ It’s just a knee strain so there’s a possibility we might see him play before the World Cup. It depends on how his recovery goes, I don’t want to put too important of a timescale on it, but there’s a chance of that.’
Kante wasn’t in the matchday team either, and Potter spoke about the Frenchman and the need to be patient over his return on Friday.
He’s doing further and further integration with the platoon. He’s still not ready for the weekend but getting near.

It’s what it is, there’s nothing we can do, the injury happen and now it’s about trying to get him back fit and getting him as ready as we can so he can play for a sustained period.
He has been in and out with injuries for some time so we’ve to make sure that when he’s back he’s back for good and strong and enjoying his football. So there’s no frustration from my perspective, it’s just commodity we’ve to deal with.
Chelsea vs Wolves press conference :
Graham Potter revealed that he’s pleased with the progress his platoon has made during his first month as Chelsea’s head trainer but is still just taking effects game by game and not looking too far ahead during this busy spell until the World Cup.
I suppose we’ve made a little bit of progress in terms of my first day to now, as you would anticipate and hope. But there’s a long way to go and I suppose the thing is we’ve to just concentrate on the coming match. It’s as simple as that.
We ’ve got this inconceivable quantum of games to play, so rather than suppose too important about what will be at the end of the season we ’ll just concentrate on the coming game.’
